I want you to experience Leichhardt the way I do. Leichhardt is all about the cafes within easy walking distance of St Fiacre’s, the cute terrace houses and the relaxed lifestyle. During your lunch break, you’ll be able to enjoy a catered lunch but you’ll also be set free to enjoy Leichhardt on foot. You’ll have a 45 minute window to walk to a nearby cafe for a coffee with people at the event you’ve found to be good company for you. Then come back and we’ll get into the workshops before home time.
For good coffee, I can recommend Cafe Claire on Young St. Annandalde; Locantro on Catherine St. Leichhardt; Bar Sport on Norton St. Leichhardt and WellCo on Norton St. Leichhardt.
About The Siena Event
The Siena Event is inspired by St Catherine of Siena who was a political influencer, medieval mystic, and doctor of the Church who famously said “If you are what you should be, you will set the whole world on fire!”Did you know that St Catherine was born on the feast of the Annunciation, on 25 March 1347? The same day Our Lady gave her Fiat to God allowing God to become man. Did you know St Fiacre’s is located at 96 Catherine St Leichhardt? I think St Catherine has her hand on our event. Did you know that St Catherine’s feast day is 29 April? Our event is the very next day. Come along and be open to what God wants to say to you through the talks, the conversations, the workshops or the free time.
