Private NDIS - supported Mental Health Care from a professional
What you need to know about my professional support services for NDIS participants
I support clients on a 1-1 basis and I specialise in the “Access Community, Social and Recreation Activities” and “Core Support” categories.
Depending on the day or the weather and in line with each participant’s goals I will do something fun together with my client. That might be shopping at the Salvos, or seeing a movie, going for a walk and having a coffee. These casual settings make it easy to converse and chat about everything in a relaxed and friendly environment.
My prices are governed by the NDIS Price Guide, so my rates are as specified there. For the Financial Year 2021/22, the weekday rate is $57.10/h, Saturday rate is $80.10/h and Sunday rate is $103.11/h.
If you are a Support Coordinator please contact me directly to discuss your client’s suitability, and we can arrange a meet and greet.
If we click when we meet, then I will offer you a Service Level Agreement for a two-week trial and we will see if we are suitable and go from there.
Most popular questions about me as a professional NDIS-support provider
As a private provider, I provide mental health care support for NDIS participants who are experiencing a relatively low level of mental health distress; they can live independently but often struggle with isolation. I value opportunities to decrease loneliness and isolation by providing regular psycho-social support to people in need.
My clients often simply need support to access the shops, public transport, get to doctor’s appointments or simply just get out of the house with a companion. Everyone loves having company when they do errands or appointments. I like to fill that space for someone in need.
Each of my clients is unique and important and if there is a need identified by the participant as important, then it is important to me, and I make it my priority.
I have lived experience of overcoming my own mental health challenges, so it’s very natural for me to share ways I’ve coped in my own stressful situations. I love sharing what I know works with others. I also officially hold an NDIS Worker’s Check, and a Cert IV in Mental Health.
I’ve been working in the NDIS-space for several years now, and I have experience across a range of conditions. I work or have worked with persons experiencing symptoms of Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Anxiety and Depression, Panic Disorder or Eating Disorders. I also have a lot of experience supporting clients going through the courts for a marriage or family separation, or escaping Domestic Violence.
What others say
"We achieved great things"
“Knowing that you were committed and shared in my successes and failures was the best thing about you. No matter what you were also available and no problem was too big. I always feel that you care and are really interested in my well being and prosperity. We have achieved great things and kicked milestones together like finishing my Bachelor’s degree!”

“Kind and positive”
“I came to Bridget for Mental Health and Wellbeing Support during COVID-19. It was her first-hand experience with mental health that sold me, her kindness and positivity. This was the first time I’d looked for a professional support service to help with my panic attacks and anxiety. Bridget helped me during a really stressful time and I felt listened to and supported. Highly recommend!”
